Tadcaster Magnets thrashed Civil Service 9-0 to leapfrog Fulford and go top of division three.
Phil Smith hit four goals to take his tally for the season to 13, while Andy Kitchen claimed a treble and Adam Standridge and Billy Thompson completed the rout.
Tadcaster and Fulford both require only two wins from their remaining fixtures to secure promotion.
F1 Racing kept their faint hopes alive with a 5-1 home win over Selby Olympia despite trailing early on. Rich Proctor levelled before the break and both he and Neil Yeowart scored twice in the second half.
F1 ’keeper Tom Goddard also saved a second half penalty.
Andy Cummins, Russell Robshaw, Richard Dwight, Ben Jones and Chris Metcalfe scored as Ouseburn beat Barmby Moor 5-0.
Wheldrake were within ten minutes of their first win of the season, but Mike Olsen’s goal was eclipsed in a 2-1 defeat by Rufforth and Wheldrake are now relegated.
