Tadcaster Albion’s second string lifted the Barkston Ash Pro Star Cup after a 5-2 final win over Barwick at Selby Town’s Flaxley Road ground.
Man-of-the-match Matty Howgate and Tosh Reid scored two goals each for the Brewers’ reserves and Callum Ward also netted in a superb display.
Manager Matt Gore said: “We played outstanding football in the second half – the way we are expected to play here at Albion.
“It is a great cup win for us. We had a good mix of youth and experience.
“Our thoughts are now on the second round of the Barkston Ash Challenge Cup and maintaining our impressive unbeaten run in the Lancashire League East Division.
“The future is very bright for all involved with Tadcaster Albion.”
Albion went 1-0 up with a fantastic finish from Ward, who curled the ball into the top corner after a defence-splitting pass from Howgate.
Barwick equalised from a soft free-kick before the break, but the second half was one-way traffic with Reid and Howgate taking the score to 5-1.
Barwick scored a last-minute goal.
