SCARBOROUGH slumped to a 1-0 Nationwide North home defeat to Workington.
The Seadogs created very little in the way of scoring opportunities but Jamie Vermiglio forced Adam Collin into a good save and Workington defender Alan Gray had to scramble an Ashley Lyth cross away from under the bar.
But the visitors snatched the only goal on 41 minutes when Tony Nicholson slid the ball past goalkeeper Curtis Aspden.
