Fulford FC go into Wednesday’s crunch match in the chase for division three honours on a high after a single goal from Murray McCluska was enough to defeat fellow promotion hopefuls F1 Racing.
The defeat virtually ends F1 Racing’s chances.
Osbaldwick kept their faint hopes alive as they beat Elvington 3-1. Paul Crangle and Mike Whitley hit the Os goals with Kieran O’Brien replying.
Two goals from Will Wood maintained Civil Service interest in the promotion honours as they beat Rufforth 2-1.
At the other end of the table, Stillington and Barmby Moor recorded their third successive draw. Mark Rice hit both Stillington’s goals.
