GARY COLLIER struck twice as Station beat Cueball 5-3 in division two of the York Sunday Morning Football League.
Dan Mustill, Steve Lyon and Wayne Brook were also on target as Station eased into second spot.
Promotion rivals Cueball netted through John Yates and a Craig Atkin brace.
York Nomads went third in the table after winning 6-2 at Marcia Grey thanks to braces from Nick Lawrie and James Willmoth, plus strikes from Nick Rank and Nathan Bradley.
Marcia’s goalscorers were Dan Hall and John Flint.
St John eased relegation fears with a 3-1 over ten-man visitors Hambleton Lions.
Joe Brown got a penalty, and Paul Rowe and Chris Walker also scored.
The only game in division three saw Barlby beat New Earswick 2-0.
The marksmen were Rich Sowden and Nathan Jones.
