MEMORIES of seasons past were relived at a reunion of Riccall United’s York & District Football League division one side of the 1960s and 70s.
Players gathered at the club’s former headquarters – the Hare & Hounds pub – to share memories of their eight division one championship-winning campaigns.
The club also won the York Senior Cup, the League Cup and the East Riding Senior Country Cup in that era.
The reunion was organised by former players Billy Bills and Denis Whitehead, and Bills said: “It was good to see the players again – some of whom I had not seen since my playing days.”
