LEEPER Hare York & District League division two leaders Post Office prospered despite not kicking a ball.

Second-placed Hemingbrough lost 3-2 at Fulford after trailing 3-0 inside the first 20 minutes to an own goal from Harry Jackson and strikes by Jamie Husband and Dave Warner.

Jackson atoned for his error with two second half penalties for his side, but Fulford held on.

A Scott Dixon hat-trick gave Huby a 3-2 win at third-placed St Clement’s. Scott Nicholas and Liam King scored for the hosts.

Lee Bunce, the division’s top goalscorer, found the back of the net for the first time this year, but his Heworth side could only draw 2-2 at White Horse.

Tom Quinn added Heworth’s second with the Church Fenton side replying through an Ally Coope brace.
