GOALS from Chris Dyson and Kevin Martin earned leaders Nestlé Flag a 2-1 victory over Thorpe United in division one of the York F1 Racing Premier Karting Sunday Morning Football League.

Hot on Flag’s heels in second are Ainsty Panthers, who beat Hambleton 4-1 thanks to a Johnny Beech hat-trick and a Matty Wain goal. The home side’s scorer was Michael Wilson.

Two goals from Dale Phillips earned Wanderers a 2-2 draw at Derwent, whose scorers were Dave Bradshaw and Liam Burdett.

Hounds were 2-0 up on Skelton at the break with goals from Dave Heron and Mick Carmody. Skelton hit back in the second half with a Chris Holmes goal.

Pocklington Town are five points clear in division two after coming from behind to beat Wigginton Grasshoppers 5-4.

Wiggy led 4-2 with goals from Danny Franks (2), Ben Coates and Tom Coates. However, Town won with goals from Wayne Johnson, Ash Newton, Charlie Bond and Dan Boneham (2).

Goals from Ian Rankeillor, Ian Hufton and Neil Rankeillor helped Acomb Celtic beat Inland Revenue 3-1 to stay in second. Craig Theaker scored for the Taxmen.

Enterprise hammered Copmanthorpe 8-1 with Johnny Sinclair hitting a hat-trick to add to goals from Steve Whelerton, Matt Brown, Danny Sellers and Dave Bentley (2). Mark Flood replied for the villagers.

Haxby Lions beat Bishopthorpe 4-1 with goals from Chris Rigby, Paul Jacobs, Matty Wash and Dave Thomson. Ben Sykes netted for Bish.

Edward VII remain bottom after losing 5-1 to Albion Vaults. Jon Cox, Dave Reasbeck, Alex Romaniw and Chris Harkin (2) scored for Vaults. Gary Newbold hit Edward’s goal.

James Darlison hit four goals as Cawood thumped Selby RSSC 7-2 to stay top of division three.

Ollie Tagert, Samuel Atton and Shaun Tagert also scored.

Acorn were 4-1 winners over Marcia Grey, thanks to a hat-trick from Leigh Dutton and a Dave Melody goal.

Gypsy Moth thrashed FC Barlby 10-0 with Dan Oxtoby hitting a hat-trick and Dion Quanborough and Rich Sheldon scoring two each.

F1 Racing moved off the bottom after drawing 5-5 with Acomb Athletic. F1 scorers were Rich Iggledun, Mike Taylor, Neil Yeowart and Stuart McGarva (2), while Athletic’s goals came from Dave Reece, Gavin Boyne, Marc Stockdale, John McKenzie and Andy Shepherd.

In division four, unbeaten Station FC beat Acomb WMC 3-2. Brett Collier and Pete Collier (2) scored for the Selby side, with Mark Hirst and Danny Gray replying.
