Nestlé Flag remain top of division one despite a 2-2 draw with visitors Selby Olympia in the York F1 Racing Premier Karting Sunday Morning Football League.

Flag led 2-0 at the break with goals from Chris Dyson and Mark Smyth, but Olympia hit back through Steve Jeff and Gareth Roberts.

Ainsty Panthers, who have games in hand, closed the gap at the top after winning 3-1 at Derwent United with goals from Simon Kehoe, Johnny Beech and Matt Wain. John Dunning scored for United.

Craig Huggins and Ben Janes (2) scored for Skelton in a 3-3 draw with Severus, whose scorers were Mark Woodward (2) and Craig McShane.

Wanderers won 3-2 against Hounds thanks to a goal from Rich Bedingham and a double from Dale Phillips. Hounds’ goals came from Alan Jackson and Tom Hogg.

Division two leaders Pocklington beat Bishopthorpe 2-1 with two goals from Dan Boneham.

Acomb Celtic, who lead the chasing pack, beat Edward VII 7-0.

Copmanthorpe hit back from 2-1 down at the break to beat Cueball 3-2 with goals from Matty Bastock, Terry Hibbert and Rob Bedford. Andy Thompson and Dave Chapman netted for Cueball.

Ten-man York Nomads beat Enterprise 5-3 with two goals apiece from Martin Smith, Nathan Bradley, plus a Nick Shaw strike.

Haxby Lions beat Albion Vaults 5-1 with goals from Paul Worden, Mick Partridge, Paul Jacobs and Chris Rigby (2).

Acorn are one point behind leaders Cawood in division three after beating Acomb Athletic 2-1 with goals from Leigh Dutton and Lee Goddard. Chris Haigh replied.
