HARROGATE Town's promotion dream is over after losing 3-1 at AFC Fylde in the National League play-off eliminators.

Simon Weaver's men found themselves two goals down after a quarter of an hour in Lancashire, and Dan Bradley's 90th-minute strike ended hopes of a comeback.

Fylde will go to Solihull Moors in the semi-final.

Ryan Croasdale put the hosts ahead 10 minutes in, poking home after Jordan Tunnicliffe headed a corner back across goal.

Five minutes later and it was two. Town keeper James Belshaw could only palm a dipping long-range effort to the edge of his six-yard box and Andy Bond was the fastest to react, slotting in the simple finish.

Harrogate had the chance to pull one back before the break when Jordan Thewlis was brought down in the area, but former Fylde forward Jack Muldoon's spot kick was saved.

Town got their goal eight minutes after the break when Luke Burke turned into his own net though Aston Villa Under-18 Bradley sealed it for the hosts late on.
