WIGGINTON Grasshoppers are still in the hunt for a Fastpack York Sunday Morning Football League double.
Jamie Willstrop scored a brace in a 4-1 League Cup last-eight victory over Kings Head United, with Matthew Mulhearn and Stephen Jarvis adding to put them into the semi-finals.
Newly-crowned champions Hoppers will play division two winners Thorpe United in the last four.
Brayton closed their division one season with a 6-2 defeat to Hambleton. Nathan Parker, Edward Wileman and Jonathan Wileman scored two each to give Hambleton the spoils. Daniel Smith and William Cleary replied for Brayton.
Bramham finished off term with a 6-2 win over Bishopthorpe CFC.
Thorpe claimed the division two title with a thrilling 4-3 win over second-placed Tang Hall WMC.
Daniel Jones, Tom Knight, Jack Morris and substitute Dom Balance scored United’s goals. Jason Ezard, Joseph Rawcliffe and sub Dexter Lynch replied for Tang Hall.
Selby Olympia jumped up a place to fifth after beating Elvington Harriers 3-1. Robert Frair scored two and Thomas Lazenby one.
Olympia face Barham Rangers in the East Riding County FA Vice President’s Cup final on Sunday (2pm).
