THE Fastpack Ltd York Sunday Morning League division one title race is hotting up.

Leaders Wigginton Grasshoppers had a week off, giving Hounds the chance to move to within four points of top spot with one game in hand - and they did by thumping Brayton 10-0.

Christopher Jackson scored four, Gary Collier three and Daniel Collins, Luke Pearse and Darren Jackson one apiece.

The only other game in division one saw Bramham edged out 6-4 by Haxby United. Daniel Clipston scored a hat-trick for the victors with Gonzalo Delgado-Caballero, Ryan Peart and Louis Wilson also netting.

In division two, second-placed Tang Hall WMC narrowed the gap to top spot to five points with an 8-0 win over Wentworth.

Jason Ezard, Dexter Lynch, Joseph Rawcliffe, Liam Robertson, Arron Rose, Christopher Lane, Andrew Rothwell and Issac Steel shared the plunder.

Kings Head United leapfrogged opponents Rawcliffe United into fourth place with a 4-2 win. James Rusling, Lewis Webster, Issac Westley and Billy White scored for Kings Head. David Durham and Jacob Kennedy replied for Rawcliffe.

York Medics fought back from two down to draw 4-4 at home to Clockhouse thanks to doubles from Robbie Britland and Joseph Horkins. Ben Jones hit a hat-trick for Clockhouse with Jason Horne adding.
