TANG Hall WMC are into the final of the Fastpack York Sunday Morning League Junior Cup after beating Mitre 5-1.

Joseph Rawcliffe, Liam Robertson, Arron Rose, Connor Wade and Duke Witter scored for Tang Hall to take them through to the final, where they will meet Elvington Harriers. James Fletcher scored Mitre’s only goal of the game.

Meanwhile, Sunday Morning League outfit Bishopthorpe CFC lost 5-0 to Angel Athletic in the North Riding County FA Sunday Challenge Cup semi-finals.

In the league, division one title-contenders Hounds went second with a 10-3 thrashing of Acomb Club.

Christopher Jackson bagged five goals and Issac Leach scored a brace, with Daniel Collins, Thomas Hogg and Luke Pearse adding for Hounds to take them four points off the summit.

Haxby United leapfrogged opponents Hambleton with a 5-3 win. Ryan Peart and Lewis Clark both scored twice each and Gonzalo Delgado-Caballero added for Haxby. Nathan Parker netted a hat-trick for Hambleton.

Bramham beat Malt Shovel 4-2 to go above their opponents and into seventh.

Division two leaders Thorpe United got back to winning ways with a 5-2 win over Elvington Harriers 5-2. Dom Balance and Reece Stronach scored twice each and Jack Morris added.

Rawcliffe United went fourth with their fifth consecutive win, beating K Town United 6-3. Sam Lapish scored five and Alex Hunt chipped in for Rawcliffe. Thomas Drake scored two in reply and James Heeles got one for K Town.

Selby Olympia brushed aside FC Pollington 5-1. Thomas Lazenby and Andrew Porter scored twice each with Joshua Worsfold adding for Selby.

Peter Baird and Matt Browne were on target for Wentworth, who beat near rivals York Medics 2-0.
