VIRTUALLY the entire York Minster Engineering League fixture programme was wiped out on Saturday due to snow and frozen pitches.
Only one game went ahead – a 2-2 draw between struggling pair Brooklyn Reserves and Civil Service Reserves in the reserve ‘C’ division.
Old Malton St Mary's remain four points ahead of Huntington Rovers at the top of the premier division but, with neither of the top two in action this coming Saturday, Dringhouses and Dunnington in third and fourth have the chance to close the gap.
Rovers are in cup action, taking on Yarm & Eaglescliffe in the North Riding County FA Challenge Cup semi-finals.
