DRINGHOUSES regained the York FA Under-19s League first division crown after a dramatic final week of term.
The key turning point came on Sunday when Dringy beat leaders Wilberfoss 8-3 to draw level with them at the top of the table in what was Foss's last game of the season.
Then on Thursday they sealed the crown in their final game against lowly York Cubs thanks to a narrow 3-2 victory.
The goals against Wilberfoss came from Sam Drake (2), Cam Hall (2), Harry Bissett, Jack Stockell, Cam Loftus and Alex Backhouse. Dan Harvey (2) and Olly Peck replied for Foss, who finish as runners-up.
Elsewhere, bottom team Bishopthorpe drew 4-4 at home to Rawcliffe on Sunday. Jack Watson (2), James Bradshaw and Euan Collins netted for the home side, and Joe Manship (2) Will Hartley and Dan Hobson for Rawcliffe.
In division two, the match between Copmanthorpe and Barmby Moor was abandoned with five minutes to go because of a serious injury to a Cop player which required the air ambulance. Moor were leading 3-2.
