GARETH HURST took just 28 seconds to give York Minster Engineering League division two Strensall the lead against Huby United as they recorded a convincing 8-1 success.
Ali Bell and Danny Franks both bagged braces in the win, with Danny Mason, Jason Heslop and Charlie Coupland also scoring.
Bishopthorpe moved into third place with a 3-2 triumph over Heslington, whose Danny Topping notched a double.
Bubwith White Swan won 3-0 at home to Fulford in division three's only game.
Division four leaders Clifford were rampant, beating St Clements 9-2.
Tom Deighton scored four and Ben Harrison got a hat-trick.
Second-placed Stillington Sports & Social Club won 5-3 at Huntington FC, with the goals for the victors coming from Luke Conkleton, Oliver Everard and Paul Holmes' hat-trick.
Will Etty, Josh Patten and Jordan Siswick netted for Elm Park in a 3-3 draw with LNER Builders. James Smith scored twice and Ben Tunningley and George Leadley got one each for Wheldrake in a 4-3 victory at Swinton.
