TOM Chelin, Jack Lockwood and a brace from Olly Newby helped Wilberfoss to retain their four-point lead at the top of division two of the York Minster Engineering League.

The trio were all on target in a 4-1 home win over Civil Service after James Cartwright had initially put Service ahead.

Second-placed Bishopthorpe United made no inroads into Wilberfoss's lead in terms of points – but they certainly did in terms of goal difference, thrashing Hamilton Panthers 14-1.

Jack Heath, Scott Sheldon, Nick Gunson and Richard Matthews all helped themselves to hat-tricks.

Strensall defeated Haxby United 6-2 thanks to efforts from Joe Davison (3), Jason Heslop, Jack Bell and Chris Johnson.

McLoughlin, Forrest, Ward and Walsh found the net for Cawood as they defeated promotion-chasing Rufforth United 4-2. Huby United are just one point away from the summit following their 2-1 home win over Jorvik Blades.

Mark Cobb put Huby ahead from the spot with just five minutes played and later added his second as Jorvik pushed forward for the equaliser.

A last-minute penalty from Mario Stan provided Blades with little consolation from the match. South Milford and Howden played out a 1-1 draw.

Bubwith moved three points clear at the top of division four after a hard-fought 3-2 win at Pollington for whom Stuart Harrison and Alex Hunt were on target.

Chris Plews (2), Alex Bairstow and Matt Connelly struck for Wetherby Athletic as they earned a point from a 4-4 draw with second-placed Malt Shovel.

Neither Huntington FC nor St Clements managed to field a full side, but the former were rampant, hitting 20 goals without reply in a game which saw every one of their players find the net.

Crayke hosted Swinton and the teams played out a ten-goal thriller, with the visitors gaining the upper hand in a 6-4 triumph.

Huntington Rovers moved up to third place in Reserve A after goals from Kieran Flanagan and Lee Jackson helped them to a 2-0 win at Malton & Norton. They now lie nine points behind leaders Dunnington with six games in hand.

Benedict Ewart's goal for Hemingbrough United proved to be little more than a consolation as they were beaten 6-1 by Church Fenton White Horse.

The top-of-the-table clash in Reserve B saw Pocklington close the gap with a 3-1 win at F1 Racing, with all of the goals coming in the second half.

Pocklington took the lead after the restart only to see Dan Hickey level from the penalty spot.

Chances came at both ends but Pock nosed in front with 15 minutes left and, despite F1 pressure, they held on before finally securing the points with a last-minute effort.

Easingwold Town suffered a 4-2 reversal at home to Tockwith. William Bygott and Jonathan Thomas-Durrant struck for the hosts but a hat-trick from Graham Hutchinson and a Vito D'Avanso strike sealed the points for Tockwith.

James Gilbertson struck a hat-trick as Haxby United defeated Brooklyn 4-2.

Nick Lawrie (3) and Russel Goodwin found the net for Osbaldwick in a 4-4 draw at Riccall. Jackson, McArdle, Chapman and Lock responded for the home side.

Matthew Howden, Matthew Blackburn and Nathan Berry scored for Bishopthorpe in a 3-1 win at Heslington, for whom Peter Barker scored a consolation.

Reserve C front runners Poppleton United kept up their momentum with a 4-0 win at Malt Shovel which now sees them just three wins away from making certain of promotion.

Wilberfoss sit third after Dan Jacques (2) and Ian Cappleman gave them a 3-1 win at Fulford.

Heworth Green gained a 4-0 home to Rufforth. Ben Norris, Mark Foster and Kester Witt all found the net, but the pick of their goals was a 40-yard screamer from Craig Metcalf.

Aaron North and John MacKenzie netted for Civil Service in their 4-2 home defeat to Selby Olympia. Acaster, Lucitt (2), Yarrow and Ransome were on target for Cliffe as they scored a convincing 5-1 win at Wetherby.
