KIRKBYMOORSIDE'S new management team were denied victory in their first game in charge by Thorpe United's smash-and-grab raid.

The York Minster Engineering League division one outfit have replaced first-team boss Paul Richardson with veteran player Alex Strickland, who will be assisted by Nick Hodgson.
