The U16s Senior Minor Cup tie at Dringhouses was ultimately a one-sided affair, although in the first half the hosts were made to work hard by ten-man Barmby Moor.

Resolute defending and fine saves by the Barmby keeper kept the score at 1-0. However, four goals in ten minutes made it 5-0 at half-time.

Barmby never gave up, and only tiredness allowed Dringhouses to run away with the game.

The goalscorers were Cam Hall (4), Liam Bartlett (4), Dan Moll (2), Mitch Parker (2), Jack Sturdy, Harry Hewitson and Luke Livingstone.

A Jack Creaser hat-trick helped send Dunnington into the quarter-finals of the U15s Intermediate (Senior) Minor Cup as they put seven past Aviva.

A hat-trick for Max McNiven was the highlight in the U14s Intermediate (Junior) Minor Cup.

His Brooklyn side won 6-1 at Easingwold Town Hawks, as two goals for Tom Davies and a Lewis Saunders finish made it a super six.

Tom Hart bagged four for Strensall Tigers Yellows as they overcame Tadcaster Albion 10-2. Kyle Edmondson (2), Lewis Humphreys (2), Alex Forbes and Jacob Kirby also scored.

Bishopthorpe continued their good early season form with 12 goals against Poppleton Tigers at Ferry Lane.

Poppleton's organised defensive kept keep the opening 15 minutes goalless, but a well taken goal from Sam Rolfe opened up the game. That allowed Bishopthorpe to stretch the play so by half-time it was 5-0.

Bishopthorpe added seven in a dominant second half that saw their defence rarely troubled.

Striker Aidan Cardow scored four to add to his prolific tally, including a superb free-kick into the top corner. Strike partner Umarul Hoque scored a great volley in a player-of-the-match display.

In the U12s Cup, York RI Rockets put nine past Huntington without reply. Charlie Rankeillor bagged four, with two each for Lewis Knight and Joe Sidebottom and one for James Hickley.
