With division one leaders Poppleton United in cup action, Harrison Signs passed up the opportunity to move top after a 4-3 defeat at fourth-placed York St John. Neil Fryirs, Richard Hunter and Adam Humphries struck for Signs.

Cliffe found winning ways for the first time this season, defeating Heslington 5-3. A Dan Collins hat-trick was supplemented by a Tom Grundy strike and an own goal as the home side moved off the foot of the table.

Third-placed Pocklington Town gained a 5-3 success at Tockwith.

Division three leaders Rufforth United suffered a setback, going down 3-0 at Selby Olympia. Gary Rylance and Jordan Siswick found the net for Jorvik Blades in a 2-1 home win over Howden AFC.

Pollington's 5-1 win over Bubwith White Swan means that they become one of four teams locked on 12 points at the top of the table. Stuart Harrison (3) and Brian Robertson (2) shared the plaudits.

Chris Harkin 2, Brad Hall, Charlie Harvey and Darren Moore bagged the goals for Malt Shovel as they ran riot at Swinton, hitting six without reply.

An own goal and a Jim Swires strike give LNER Builders a 2-1 victory over Wheldrake. Huntington FC and Wetherby Athletic fought out a 3-3 draw.

The only game of the day in Reserve A saw a high-scoring 4-4 draw at Copmanthorpe, where visitors Wigginton Grasshoppers surrendered an early 3-0 lead and had to settle for a point.

A Tom Coates penalty allied to strikes from Danny Franks (2) and James Sutton made up the 'Hoppers haul while Copmanthorpe's tally was made up of an own goal plus efforts from Daniel Pedras (2) and Tom Settle.

Alex Burton, Will Hall and Matthew O'Connell found the net for Reserve B leaders Osbaldwick as they defeated Tockwith 3-2.

Fourth-placed Haxby defeated third-placed Riccall United 3-0, with Dan Clipson (2) and Billy Warren hitting the target.

Bishopthorpe United won 2-0 at home Harrison Signs while Brooklyn suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of visiting Easingwold Town.

Poppleton United continue to lead Reserve C following a 9-1 demolition of Cliffe, for whom Lewys Williams netted a consolation.

Nick Moss hit a first half-hat trick for the hosts, a feat that was matched in the second period by 16-year-old Will Brown who bagged a treble of his own. Niall Kirby (2) and Josh Molesworth bagged the remaining Poppy goals.

Wetherby Athletic sit second after a 5-0 defeat of Malt Shovel.

York RI and Rufforth United remain level on points following a 4-4 thriller. Connor Larner hit all of RI's goals but it wasn't enough to secure victory following goals from Dave Clark (3) and Mark Powell.
