RUFFORTH United continued their pursuit of the York Minster Engineering League division three title with regular hot-shots Liam Keenaghan, Danny Cates and Leigh Dutton hitting the target in a 3-1 win over The Raj, for whom Daniel Hunter smashed in a late effort.

It seems that goals are guaranteed in Huby United's games these days, and this was again the case as the home side defeated Cawood 7-5.

Cawood had raced into a 3-0 lead after 15 minutes but Ewan McNab reduced the deficit shortly afterwards.

However, Cawood were much the stronger and restored their three-goal cushion before the break.

The second half saw a change in the home side and they scored six goals before Cawood managed to hit their fifth and final effort.

Mark Cobb bagged a hat-trick for Huby, with McNab adding his second, along with individual strikes from Steve Aconley and Sean Corr.

Daniel Marshall struck twice for Heworth Green as they drew 2-2 at Howden AFC, while James Ford netted for Jorvik Blades in a 6-1 defeat at South Milford, while Tom Jackson and Michael Giliga were on target for Moor Lane in their 5-2 loss at home to Selby Olympia.

Bubwith White Swan are the new leaders of division four after Andy Stone, Josh Evans and Neil Hunter netted in a 3-0 home win over LNER Builders.

St Clements have dropped to second after a third loss in as many weeks, this time going town 4-0 at Bramham, with Marcus Stapleton (2), Matt Lombard and Freddie Calvert on target for the hosts.

Huntington FC are chasing the leading duo following a 6-0 triumph at Wheldrake, with Liam Broadley, Jake Lawrence, Luke Smith (2), Ben Croalle and Shane Bogg firing the visitors to success.

Brian Robertson struck for Pollington in a 2-1 home defeat to Wetherby Athletic, while Swinton and AFC Crayke played out a 2-2 draw.

Malton and Norton goalkeeper Chris Bingham stole the show with a magnificent performance in their 1-1 draw with Tadcadster Magnets.

Bingham had to be at his best to deny Magnets on several occasions and it looked like his performance would be rewarded as the Malton side led through a Nathan Jackson effort.

However, Magnets' pressure was rewarded with ten minutes to go when they levelled after a free-kick was tapped in at the far post. Kieran Flannagan hit a brace for Huntington Rovers in a 2-0 win at Thorpe United.

Riccall United joined F1 Racing at the top of Reserve B following a 3-2 success against the early pacesetters.

The home side's goals came from Dan Hood and Ben Orange but efforts from Tang, Lock and Chapman sealed the points for Riccall.

Osbaldwick sit in third place after goals from Tom Wheatland and Tim Gough earned them a 2-2 draw at Haxby United.

Brooklyn picked up their first points of the season following a 4-0 triumph over Bishopthorpe United. Matthew Bean collected a hat-trick in the win with Cameron Swift adding the fourth.

Greg Ashcroft netted twice for Stamford Bridge but it wasn't enough as Harrison Signs hit back through Thomas Shaw, Ben Ballantyne and Glyn Welsby to take the points. Pocklington Town gained a comfortable 6-0 win at Easingwold Town.

Poppleton United sit atop of Reserve C after a 4-2 win over Cliffe thanks to strikes from Niall Kirby (2) and Liam Brown plus an own goal.

Connor Larner (2), Luke Richardson and Morgan Copley gave York RI a 4-2 win at Heworth Green. Jericho Keys replied twice for the hosts.

Renatus Pranulis struck twice to give Civil Service a two-goal cushion at Cliffe, but a wonder goal from Glynn Richardson and an own goal brought the scores back level. Second half efforts from Nick Dunlop and James Shaw sent Civil Service home as 4-2 victors.

Christopher Power and Andy Barker struck for Wetherby in their 3-2 defeat at Rufforth, for whom Steve Cooper (2) and Daniel Witcombe grabbed the goals.

David Laverack (2) and Ian Cappleman hit the target for Wilberfoss in a 4-3 defeat at Malt Shovel.
