PICKERING Town notched their 11th away win of the season – as many as new Premier Division leaders Tadcaster Albion – as they won 1-0 at Liversedge in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League.
Sam Calvert got the decisive goal in the 18th minute against second-bottom Sedge as the Pikes stayed sixth, seven points behind fifth-placed Worksop Town but five in front of Staveley Miners' Welfare in seventh.
Selby Town climbed a place to tenth in Division One on the back of a 1-0 home victory over AFC Emley, Tom Owen scoring in the 28th minute, but Worsbrough Bridge Athletic could not raise a side to visit Knaresborough Town.
In Evo-Stik League Division One North, Harrogate Railway Athletic are just about still alive after beating already-doomed and winless New Mills 4-1 at Station View.
Goals came from Chris Ovington (2), Harry Coates and Stephen Bromley after Michael Jones had given the Millers a shock 12th-minute lead.
However, Ossett Town maintained a five-point lead over Railway after a 3-1 success against Prescot Cables at Valerie Park.
Lancaster City and Scarborough Athletic shared a 1-1 draw at Giant Axe, where Dean Lisles equalised for Athletic in the 59th minute after Neil Marshall's 16th-minute opener for the hosts.
Harrogate Town were denied a 3-3 draw at Alfreton Town by a stunning save from 38-year-old former Hull City and Bradford City keeper Matt Duke, who tipped over a glancing header by Danny Ellis when it looked destined for the top corner.
Jordan Thewlis had put the visitors in front after 32 minutes but in-form Brendon Daniels' 76th-minute goal only made it 3-2.
It was Alfreton Town's first home win since January 23 but it did give them a double over the Yorkshiremen, who are still fourth in the table and looking good for the play-offs.
