York RI were the only side in the top four of the York Leeper Hare Football League second division to lose and the only home side to suffer a defeat.

Fulford, who beat the RI ranks 4-1 earlier in the season, repeated the scoreline with goals from Andrew Browse, Carl Hodgson and two from Joseph Kornski, who also managed to score in the reverse fixture.

Leaders Osbaldwick stretched their unbeaten home run to 19 games after they hammered Moor Lane 6-1. Teenager Nick Lawrie hit a first half hat-trick to take his tally to 11 goals in his last three games, with a brace of goals from Mark Triffitt and an Anthony Luck solo effort.

Post Office staged a remarkable comeback at home to Huby. The visitors led through goals from Scott Dixon, Lee Goodwin and two from John Durrant-Thomas but the hosts rallied after the interval with a brace each from Neil Holmes and Mark Bardley, plus an own goal, to win 5-4.

Selby RSSC beat Hemingbrough in the Selby derby, where visitors 'Brough took the lead with a Luke Zacharenko penalty.

However, the Railway Club side snatched victory with two late goals. Ex-Hemingbrough player Matty Williams levelled from the spot and Steve Mahoney claimed the late winner deep into injury-time.

Second half goals from Tom Deighton and Dave Shaw gave Tadcaster a 2-0 home win over New Earswick and White Horse beat Civil Service 4-0. The Church Fenton side hit the woodwork no fewer than seven times but eventually found the back of the net through Nigel Chester, Chris Parker and Andy Jollands (2).

In division three, Norton's Chris Segar continued his remarkable record of scoring in all Norton's league games this season as he scored both in the 2-0 win at North Duffield.

Rawcliffe player-manager Geoff Hunter hit the only goal of the game as his side beat Melbourne to retain top spot, while Barmby Moor beat Heworth with an 88th-minute penalty from Sam Appleton.

Two goals each from Danny Peace and Ken Sharman set up St Clement's' 5-2 win at LNER Builders. Lee Jefferson hit both Builders goals and Scott Nicholas converted a late penalty for the visitors.
