Only one of the scheduled three Senior Cup ties survived the heavy rains with Kartiers reaching the semi-finals with a 4-2 home win over holders Wigginton Grasshoppers.

Goals from Andy Richardson and James Barrett gave the Selby-based side a two-goal lead inside the first 20 minutes but parity was restored before the interval courtesy of brothers Tom and Ben Coates.

Kartiers, beaten just twice in their last 20 home games - and both of those were against Wigginton, regrouped to win with two James Tweddie in the last 15 minutes.

Civil Service carried their poor league form in to the Junior Cup as they went down 2-1 at home to division three side Heworth. Ross Nelson gave Heworth the lead, Andy Simpson levelled before the break but Stephen Neal hit the winner for Heworth whotravel to Cawood, who beat Bishop Wilton 4-0, in the quarter-finals.

Cawood struggled to break down a resilient Wilton defence but eventually ran out comfortable winners with goals from Andy Oldfield (2), Billy Ayton and Simon Marlow.

White Horse, dumped out of the York FA Cup by Rawcliffe earlier in the season, gained revenge with a 5-0 victory this time round.

The Church Fenton side powered through with Chris Parker (2), John Marshall, Joe Savage and Nigel Chester on the mark.

Tadcaster Albion moved into a last eight meeting with White Horse with a 4-2 home win over St Clements. Darren Wilson and Mathew Holgate both scored a goal in each half with Danny Liddle and Scott Nicholls replying for St Clements.

Selby RSSC edged out Fulford on penalties - having already beaten then in the York FA Cup.

Steve Mahoney gave RSSC an early lead before they lost midfielder Gordon Campbell with a suspected broken ankle. John Page doubled the lead but Fulford hit back through Carl Hodgson and the game went into extra-time after a diving header from Mike Richardson.

The extra period failed to produce any goals and Selby won the penalty shoot-out 3-2.

New Earswick will entertain RSSC in March's quarter-finals after they beat Huby United 2-0 through Sam Harrison and Mike Clancey (penalty).
