STATION stormed into round three of the York FA Sunday Morning Senior Cup with a 7-0 thumping of Wigginton Grasshoppers.

Ryan Whitlamb and Luke Durham got two goals apiece for the hosts. They were joined on the scoresheet by Will Ramsey and Gary Collier, while Wiggy contributed an own goal.

Dunnington were 3-1 winners at home to York Medics.

The hosts went 1-0 up in the first half through Jimmy Wilmoth, but York Medics equalised soon after the half-time break.

Goals from Mike Noble and a second for Wilmoth secured the win for Dunnington. Leeman United had to come through a penalty shoot-out against Enterprise.

Leeman thought they had won the tie in normal time when they led 2-1 thanks to a Darren Brandon goal and a Neal Hartley penalty.

Enterprise equalised with the last kick of the game – but Leeman progressed to round three after winning 4-2 on spot kicks.

Huntington were 4-2 winners at Hambleton.

In the York FA Sunday Morning Junior Cup, Eggborough Rangers were 4-0 home winners over Marcia Bishopthorpe.

James Wye hit a hat-trick, with his haul including a penalty, and Jake Wild completed the tally.

A first-half Billy Ross strike was enough to put Haxby Lions into the semi-finals at the expense of visitors Bishopthorpe United.

They will be joined in the last four by Britannia Tadcaster, who beat Snaith 2-0, and Tadcaster Magnets, 4-2 victors at Marcia Grey.
