KING William beat Hounds 2-1 to book a York FA Sunday Morning Senior Cup final date with Acomb Celtic.
A brace from Danny Gray ensured King William came through their delayed semi-final at Hounds.
Simon Jackson was the Hounds scorer, netting a fine individual goal after beating six players and hammering in a rebound off the ’keeper into the bottom corner.
The final will be played at Wigginton on Sunday, April 28, kick off 10.30am.
Tadcaster Magnets will face Bubwith White Swan in the final of the York FA Sunday Morning Junior Cup after beating Huntington Rovers 5-2 in their delayed semi-final.
Magnets were 2-0 up at half-time through Martin Howgate and Jon Darnton, but Huntington pulled one back after the break. Sam Farthing responded with a brace for Magnets and, although Huntington managed a second, Matthew Howgate scored with a 30-yard lob late on.
The final will be played at Wigginton on Sunday, April 28, kick off 1.30pm.
