GILLAMOOR came back well to earn a share of the RJF Homes Beckett Football League spoils in an eight-goal derby thriller at Kirkdale United.

This was the only game in division one owing to Scarborough and District FA Junior Cup ties.

Kirkdale went three up through Martin Charlton (2) and Luke France, with Gillamoor pulling one back just before half-time through Lee Nesfield after good play by Karl Richardson.

Gillamoor stepped up a gear after the break and drew level through a 20-yard Gary Stamper free-kick and a Luke Tateson penalty, after he himself had been chopped down.

Gary Davies regained Kirkdale's lead but Richardson got the 4-4 equaliser after fine work by Stamper.

Terrington Glory have opened an eight-point lead at the top of division two after a six-goal triumph at Ampleforth.

Dave Bradshaw scored a second-half hat-trick to add to strikes by Stuart Taylor and Romane Reeves and a Gary Thornton own goal.

Old Malton 3rds climbed to second after a 3-1 win at Norton United Reserves, all the goals coming in the second half from Rob Baker, Phil Smith and Scott Preston for Malt and Simon Collier for United, who played most of the game with ten men as they had no substitutes to replace an injured player.

Jamie Stevens scored twice as Crayke rose to fourth with a 3-2 win at St Clement's Reserves. Nick Thorne also scored as Crayke led 2-0 and 3-1, Carl Kidds and John Dale replying.

Bagby and Balk came from 3-1 down to beat St Clement's 3rds 4-3.

A Lee Nicholas brace had St Clement's 2-0 up and, after John Martin pulled one back before half-time, Nick Shaw restored the two-goal gap. But Bagby's never-say-die attitude was rewarded as Darren Bell, Matthew Kendall and Andrew Parkinson, with the winner seven minutes from time, turned it round. They were also indebted to young keeper Tommy Hunter for three superb late saves.

Dave Simpson, Zac Allanson, Martin Grayson, Paul Featherstone and James Blacklock scored, the last two late on, as Gillamoor Reserves beat Union Rovers 2nds 5-2. Liam Bradley and Craig Harrison responded.

In-form Kirkbymoorside progressed into the quarter-finals of the North Riding CFA County Cup by beating Richmond Town 3-0 with goals from Andrew Hodgson, Paul Hodgson and Darrell Rivis.
