Enterprise claimed another big scalp in division one of the Ian's Cars of Barlby Sunday Morning League.

A week on from beating second placed Acomb Celtic 2-0 they went one better and saw off table toppers King William 6-4.

Enterprise raced into a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes with a hat-trick from Carl Stewart.

Nathan Kamara pulled one back for King William before James Shimmin made it 4-1 at the break.

In the second period, Enterprise increased their lead with an own goal and a fourth from Stewart to make it 6-1 before the leaders replied with goals from Mark Willoughby, Danny Gray and Luke Hall.

But even with 30 minutes still to go and King William keeping up the pressure, a resilient Enterprise defence held out.

Severus’s Mark Woodward came off the bench to net a second half hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Skelton. Also on target were Jason Race and Craig McShane. The reply came from Toby Lea.

In the derby duel between Brayton FC and visitors Selby Olympia, the guests opened the scoring through Sean Gandy on ten minutes.

Third-placed Tadcaster Magnets maintained their hundred per cent record with a 7-0 win over NUR.

Sam Farthing, Kingsley Wetherald and Daryl Carter struck for a 3-0 half-time lead.

Ben Wilson bagged two after the break, his second a rasping 35-yarder, while Wetherald was also twice on target to complete his hat-trick.

Ryan Willis hit a hat-trick in Selby Railway’s 6-1 win at Eggborough Rangers. Matty Williams, Jon Teale and Danny Oxtoby completed the win. Rangers’ lone reply was from John Nurden.
