An opening stand of 80 between B Stephenson (31) and C Cameron (46) sealed Barmby Moor's six-wicket defeat of Malton and Old Malton and their leadership of HPH York Vale League division three.
Apart from Matthew Bulmer's 47, the Malton side had showed little patience when dismissed for 117 in just 22 overs.
University Staff are close behind in second after successfully chasing 184 to beat Drax by six wickets.
