FRONT-LINE pace bowler Nick Thornicroft will be missing from York Cricket Club's line-up tomorrow.
The Yorkshire bowler is at a family wedding so misses the Oxbridge Yorkshire ECB County Premier League game with Driffield at Clifton Park.
His place goes to Colin Palmer as second-placed York keep up their pursuit of champions and leaders Barnsley, who entertain Cleethorpes.
Driffield will still be smarting from their 10-wicket mauling by Scarborough on Bank Holiday Monday.
Thornicroft also misses the short trip to Harrogate the following day when York are involved in a Cockspur Cup tie.
Palmer retains his place at st George's Road and Mike Mortimer comes in for Duncan Snell who is playing for Leeds-Bradford Universities. Australian Lloyd Devlin is ineligible for the competition so former Heworth player Dave Simpson is drafted in.
