Michael Vaughan was named as one of the two captains as Yorkshire began their two-day inter-squad friendly at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The former England skipper was due to lead the side coached by Craig White and Kevin Sharp, while regular skipper Anthony McGrath led the side coached by Steve Oldham and John Blain.
Director of professional cricket Martyn Moxon has been happy with the preparation for limited overs cricket, but he wants his men to get used to the longer format before the three-day friendly against Cambridge UCCE at Fenner’s over the Easter weekend.
