Tuite helped basement side Rowntrees to 233-6, but Simon Wood’s unbeaten 112 saw Whitkirk to a five-wicket win.
Stamford Bridge II went down by 19 runs against leaders Castleford II.
Cas totalled 194-3 and then bowled out Bridge for 175.
Rich Horner’s 4-14 failed to conjure a win for Civil Service over Selby II.
Service totalled 216-5, with Graham Purdy hitting 79 not out and Jim Chisholm 48, before Horner reduced Selby to 130-8 in reply.
James Flint hit 60 not out in Yapham’s 171-9 against Sheriff Hutton Bridge II, but Steve Clipston’s 55 ushered Bridge towards a draw at 133-7.
York IV narrowly failed to pull off a win against Thirsk II, who were left hanging on at 109-9 chasing 198-7.
Andrew Griffin hit 81 for York and team-mate Kalum Ahmed then took 5-20.
John Patrick scored 108 not out for Dringhouses II in division six as they fell short of visitors’ Thorp Arch & Boston Spa’s 276-5.
Dringhouses closed on 219-7.
Leaders Londesborough Park II beat New Earswick II by 210 runs.
Park totalled 259-7 and then skittled their hosts out for only 49.
Dunnington II are a clear second after their 82-run win at Hornsea II.
Dunnington made 164-9 and Josh (3-30) and Sam Tattersall (3-19) combined to bowl out the hosts for 82.
Chris Hammerton’s unbeaten 49 helped Osbaldwick II to a draw with Pocklington II, while Cawood were five-wicket winners at Welton & Brough II. R Nicholson hit 82 not out for Cawood and David Topping made 41.
In division seven, Nigel Ayre hit 106 in Civil Service II’s 151-run victory against Stillington II.
Leaders Tadcaster Magnets II pulled off a tight draw Sheriff Hutton II. John Armitage hit 70 in Sheriff’s 181-7 and Tony Fisher then took 3-35 to restrict Magnet to 180-7.
Bolton Percy II drew with Drax II and Rowntrees II lost to Carlton Towers II by 104 runs, while there was no play in Hovingham II’s trip to Cawood II.
