The top two sides in division one met head-to-head at Stamford Bridge where a six-wicket win for visiting York II saw them nip ahead of their opponents to reclaimed pole position.
Andy Milner was in fine fettle for the hosts as he hit 73, while Dave Chaplin added 31 but their side were all out for 150 as Robert Flack with 3-49 and Adam Boasman 3-36 put York in charge.
York's reply started off in calamitous fashion as they collapsed to 26-4 but the Stamford attack was unable to make any further inroads as Jason Wackett, with 54no, and Robert Flack (67no) put together an unbroken stand to see them to a six-wicket victory.
Pocklington eased away from the division's lower reaches when they beat Scarborough by four wickets thanks to 64 from Ted Donkin and 32 by Neil Jackson which neutered the 3-39 taken by Chris Beard.
Earlier, Scarborough had fallen just short of the full batting points when they reached 198-7 with Nick Zakrzewski making 33 and Neil Fletcher 31 before Tom Pateman boosted their score with 35no. Mike Newhouse took 3-43 for the eventual winners.
