SHERIFF Hutton Bridge will host Heslerton in round two of cricket’s 42nd annual Davidstow National Village Cup.
The North Yorkshire rivals received a bye in round one and will meet at Moor Farm in Strensall – home of 2005 winners Bridge – on Sunday, May 11.
In the same North Yorkshire (South) group, Woodhouse Grange, trophy winners in 1995 and 2007, travel to Fairburn in round one on Sunday, April 27, with the winners away to Spofforth in round two.
In the opposite half of the draw, all four teams were handed byes to round two, with Staxton hosting Folkton & Flixton and Knaresborough Forest visiting Studley Royal.
Ties in round one of the North Yorkshire (North) group include Alne at home to Harome, with Ebberston awaiting the winners in round two.
Sessay, cup winners in 2010, are away to Staithes in round one.
The final of the competition will be played at Lord’s on Sunday, September 7.
