YORK City’s youth team conceded three goals from corners on their way to a Football League Youth Alliance North East Conference defeat against Chesterfield.
The Spireites clinched a 3-0 win despite Steve Torpey’s teenagers creating the better chances in open play.
Rob Moncur forced a smart save for the Minstermites, who also saw Danny Middleton and Tom Owen go close following good work from Reece Kelly.
