STRIKER Moses Ashikodi scored twice as York City beat Grangetown Old Boys 4-0 in the semi-finals of the North Riding Senior Cup at Bootham Crescent.
Ashikodi was joined on the scoresheet by on-loan Sheffield United midfielder Erik Tonne and Grangetown's Alan Shepherd scored an own goal to complete the rout.
City fielded nine players with first-team experience, with Ashikodi and Tonne playing alongside Daniel Parslow, Jamal Fyfield, Michael Potts, Scott Brown, Adriano Moke, Danny Pilkington and half-time substitute Ben Swallow.
The Minstermen will play Middlesbrough reserves in the final. A date and venue has yet to be decided.
