YORK City Ladies began their defence of the North Riding FA Cup with a convincing 5-0 win over Scarborough Ladies.
Chloe Precious opened and closed the scoring for City with Emily Dingley, Sam Lee and leading markswoman Vicky Back also netting in between.
City ladies’ reserves went down 3-1 to Poppleton with Steph Nicolle getting the consolation.
