WITH Tom Evans now suspended, York City boss Billy McEwan will decide today whether to bring in a more experienced keeper in on loan or hand York-born Arran Reid his first senior start in tomorrow's home match against Morecambe (7.45pm).
About Reid's performance as substitute for the dismissed Evans at Crawley, McEwan said: "He's been working hard in training and he did OK in general. He could probably have done better with the second goal but, to be fair, he needed a little bit more protection."
City only named four substitutes for the game after their travelling party of 16 was depleted by Ross Greenwood's viral bug.
Centre-back James Dudgeon also played despite being sick before the game and was replaced by another debutant Danny Parslow.
Suspended midfielder Steve Bowey will complete his three-match ban after tomorrow night's game.
