THE champagne fell a little flat for prize guys Gary Mills and Michael Ingham at Bootham Crescent on Saturday.
Mills and Ingham were presented with their respective Blue Square Bet Premier Manager of the Month and Player of the Month for November awards before the FA Trophy tie against Boston United.
But City lacked the normal fizz in the first round home tie and were dumped out of the competition after a 1-0 defeat to the Lincolnshire part-timers.
The Football Conference’s assistant general manager Dave Boddy made the presentations with Mills recognised for a seven-game unbeaten month.
Former Northern Ireland international goalkeeper Ingham kept six clean sheets and only conceded one goal in November.
