York City manager Gary Mills has bolstered his squad with two loan signings.
Striker Ashley Chambers, 20, has joined City on loan until January from Leicester City.
Chambers became the Foxes' youngest-ever first-team player after making his debut in September 2005, aged 15 years and 203 days.
He has represented England at Under-17, U18 and U19 level.
Meanwhile, left-footed midfielder Robbie Weir, 21, has signed on loan from Sunderland for a month after impressing in a midweek trial match.
Subject to FA clearance, both players are expected to go straight into the squad for Sunday's Blue Square Bet Premier match against Wrexham at Bootham Crescent.
