YORK City striker Clayton Donaldson has agreed an extension to his KitKat Crescent contract.

Donaldson, who netted 18 times in 2005/2006 and played every minute of every match, has become the latest member of last season's playing staff to put pen to paper and City boss Billy McEwan expects Neal Bishop, Mark Convery and Nathan Peat to follow suit.

McEwan is also waiting for teenage right-back Nathan Kamara to confirm whether he will be accepting first-year professional terms.

Ten professionals Donaldson, David McGurk, Emmanuel Panther, James Dudgeon, Byron Webster, Darren Craddock, Alex Rhodes, Steve Bowey, Craig Farrell and Arran Reid have now agreed terms for next season.

Darren Dunning, Jamie Price and Bryan Stewart have all turned down City contract offers for 2006/2007.
