POPPLETON Costcutter placed their official opening in safe hands when York City’s Wembley goalkeeper Michael Ingham performed the honours.
In return, Ingham’s boots for the FA Trophy final against Stevenage were been sponsored by the supermarket, who were also providing the team with Boost drinks for the historic occasion.
Ingham was presented with his boots by Tom Richardson, who has recently signed a two-year apprenticeship at KitKat Crescent.
The City stopper then signed autographs with members of Poppleton Juniors also invited to the opening.
