YORK City's defence proved impregnable yet again to secure a valuable point at home to Kidderminster in the battle to escape relegation from the Blue Square Premier.
The 0-0 draw at KitKat Crescent means the Minstermen have conceded just one goal in their last five league matches and that bodes well for the fight to preserve their status.
The Wembley-bound side now have 40 points and are stealthily gaining ground on the other clubs hovering just below them in the table.
But while the defence looks assured City manager Martin Foyle is now looking to his strikers to step up to the plate, especially now that top scorer Richard Brodie faces a two-match ban after accumulating ten bookings this season.
