HAMILTON Panthers conceded their first goal after an 11-hour shut-out as they drew 4-4 with Nestlé Rowntree in Leeper Hare York and District League reserve ‘B’.
Chris Howell’s opening goal for Nestlé ended the clean sheet run of Hamilton Panthers and the shell-shocked leaders needed a late equaliser to snatch a point.
Dave Hyde scored a hat-trick for Panthers.
Easingwold eased into second place with a 6-1 win at York RI, a scoreline which included a Paul Floyd hat-trick.
Wilberfoss had to settle for a point from a 1-1 draw at Riccall.
The Riccall goal came from Trevor Robinson and was their first in six games.
James Haughian scored late on as Stamford Bridge pinched all the points after a 2-1 victory over Poppleton.
Meanwhile, Norwich Union are the new leaders of reserve ‘C’ after extending their unbeaten run to 12 games. They beat Malton & Norton 4-1, helped by a brace from Tom Shaw, the division’s top goalscorer.
