YORK City co-chairman Matt Uggla will be absent from the opening three matches of the 2024/25 Vanarama National League season.
The Football Assosciation have imposed a three match ban on Uggla, along with a £250 fine after a breach of FA Rule E3.1.
The breach reads: "It is alleged that upon conclusion of the fixture, he acted in a manner which was improper and/or violent."
Uggla is being punished for his post-match actions in December's 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet United, after the York co-chair publicly criticised referee John Mulligan after a suspected infringement in the build up of Jordan Cousins' 95th minute equaliser was ignored.
Cousins' late goal cost City a valuable three points, having only survived on the final day of the National League season by goal difference.
The punishment is added to Uggla's previous reprimanding, after he was fined £250 in early February.
The FA also previously confirmed that Uggla has accepted the charging.
