YORK City have announced that Hummel will become the football club's official new kit manufacturer for the 2024/25 season.

Hummel and York have agreed a new three-year deal that will see the clothing company manufacture all on-field playing kits and training gear for every City team, including the academy and the Ladies squad.

The Minstermen have ended their partnership with Puma that lasted for a three-year period, producing the kits and training gear for the 2021/22 promotion season as well as the centenary kits for the 2022/23 campaign.

City are currently the only Vanarama National League club to be partnered with Hummel, who also represent Everton, Coventry City and Sunderland.

Hummel themselves celebrated their centenary last year, with co-chair Julie-Anne Uggla delighted to begin a new project with the kit manufacturers.

Co-chairman Uggla stated: “We are delighted to embark on this journey with Hummel.

"Their renowned expertise and commitment to pushing boundaries align perfectly with our vision for the future of the club.”

Martin Ivison, Hummel’s Head of Teamsports & Pro added: “Everyone at Hummel is delighted to have agreed a multiyear deal with York City FC to become their new technical kit partner.

"We are looking forward to providing players, staff, and most importantly the supporters with an exceptional range of products both on and off the field.

"York City is a club which is clearly ambitious, and we look forward to being on the same journey with them, hopefully back to the football league.”
