THE 2024 Mr Q UK snooker championships are returning to York for another year.

Running from November 23 to December 1 in 2024, York Barbican will host the championships for a 19th time, following on from the event being held there this year.

First held in 1977, the UK Championship is one of snooker’s Triple Crown events. A spokesperson for WST (World Snooker Tour) said: "This has become the hottest ticket in town, particularly since we changed the format last year, which enhanced the atmosphere in the arena.
