TADCASTER Albion have been drawn at home to Vanarama National League North side Chester in the Emirates FA Cup second qualifying round.
After defeating Heaton Stannington 2-1 on Saturday in the first qualifying round, Tadcaster were involved in the draw for the next stage of the cup which took place today at 1pm, and have drawn a tie that will be hugely beneficial towards the club's finances.
Chester have had a disappointing start to their National League North season after early campaign promotion aspirations, currently sitting in 15th postion after accumulating eight points from their opening seven matches.
It will be a first-ever meeting between the two sides, with the tie to commence on Saturday, September 16 (3pm) at the So-Trak Stadium.
If Tadcaster are to progress past the Seals, Tadcaster will match their highest-ever FA Cup round, last reaching this stage in the 2012/13 season before falling to a 2-0 defeat to Boston United.
York City will enter the competition on Saturday, October 14 (3pm).
