FORMER York City striker Manny Duku has found his next club upon his release from the Minstermen.

Duku is part of the three first-team players released by the club today, alongside Alex Whittle who also departed on Friday afternoon by mutual consent.

After one season with York, Duku has joined Gibraltar Football League side Manchester 62.

The Gibraltan side play in the only professional tier in the country, and finished eighth in the table last season after being managed by former Woking and Grimsby Town interim manager Anthony Limbrick.

Duku made 30 appearances last season and netted four goals in the Vanarama National League with York, including his Emirates FA Cup strike against Sky Bet League One side Shrewsbury Town.

The forward is now at his 18th club at 30-years-old, playing in his fourth different country.

Fraser Kerr has also officially left the club as per the expiration of his contract, along with Luke James who had signed a pre-contractual agreement with Vanarama National League North outfit South Shields.

Nathan Thomas and AJ Greaves remain with the club training in pre-season, although no decision has yet been made on their future.
