YORK City have added their fourth signing of the Summer- bringing in winger Zanda Siziba.

Following the Uggla family's completed takeover of the club on Wednesday afternoon, York have signed two players in two days, bringing Siziba into the club alongside Quevin Castro.

Siziba began his career in the academy at Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur, before making the switch to Ipswich Town.

After coming through the ranks at Ipswich, Siziba made six first-team appearances before completing a permanent switch to the Vanarama National League.

The 19-year-old joined Yeovil Town at the back end of last season, and made six appearances before the Glovers suffered relegation to the Vanarama National League South, adding one goal to his Yeovil tally.

It was a heavily rumoured move after Matt Uggla completed the takeover of the Minstermen, after his failed to attemp to purchase Yeovil previously.

Speaking on his move, Siziba said: "I’m just really excited to be here.

“I’m a fast, tricky, kind of skilful winger. I can do a job in midfield as well. I like to take on my man and score a few goals.

“I can’t wait to get started and show the fans what I can do.”
